It was wonderful to collaborate with lovely Kerry Harrison on fresh personal brand photography near Totnes earlier this year!
I was delighted she joined my Spring mini-shoot day at the The Tribe co-working space.
We first met through an online business community a few years ago, and shared some great conversations about business, tech and staying human amidst it all, so I was excited we got to work together and continue those explorations.
Kerry has been working with values led businesses for over 20 years, teaching marketing, offering copywriting, and now also trains AI implementation to improve businesses processes & marketing without losing their thinking skills, imagination, or integrity. She is a course director at the Chartered Institute of Marketing, as well as tutor and chair of the Data and Marketing Association AI Council.
Kerry was ready to update and refresh the photography she was using to better represent who she is now with the wealth of experience and achievements she has working in this space, showing her professionalism and credibility while also her friendliness, warmth and approachability.
AI is rightly contentious technology, and Kerry would be the first to agree that its use is something we must be considering thoughtfully if we are to use it at all.
Alongside her business and marketing work, you may find Kerry hosting retreats in the woods and teaching in-person yoga.
As part of the mini-shoot day, this was a 30 minute photo-shoot with 15 mins buffer time either side to get ready and wrap up at the end - very much speedier than my usual sessions!
Despite the short session length, we managed to create lots of variety by planning in advance. We felt-in to the stories we wanted to tell, the sides of Kerry to show, clarified the checklist of props to bring and how we’d set everything up - so on the day we knew exactly what we were doing and got in the flow.
