Why being authentic as a small business owner matters

Your authenticity allows and attracts great-match clients - and, thank goodness - turns away those who are not.

When you allow your realness to come through in your branding, on your website, socials, and everywhere you're engaging with your audience, those who vibe with you will naturally resonate and connect.

And the ones who don't?

They'll move on, they'll scroll on by.

While it can feel scary to know you might turn potential clients away by being yourself, it's so much better that way, than pretending to be someone you're not, or hiding yourself, in the hopes of appealing to everyone.

You're not for everyone.

We can't be a great match for every single potential client.

And it would be weird, unhealthy & unsustainable to try to manipulate people into liking us. 🤢

Developing our personal brand invites us again and again to reflect on who we are now, who we are becoming, and the ways in which we would like to evolve.

What we need is your realness.

Allow people to be discerning about whether you and your services are right for them by letting them see who you are.

I’m not suggesting that you share everything, or anything very vulnerable / personal in your meetings or on social media. That’s for your closest ones, and your journal!

But what you are putting out? Let that come from a place that is true… not ‘perfect’, not pretend.

I’m currently booking photography sessions and would loooove to help you bring more YOU to your personal brand with soulful images…

…images that feel true, that inspire, boost your confidence to be visible, and deeply connect with the clients you’d love to be calling in.

Book in a call here, or email me with any wonderings you may have. ❤️ I’d love to hear from you.
