I've got *all the butterflies* this morning as I’m sharing a new thing I’ve made that starts next month (and I'm so excited about it!!).
This is gonna be perfect for you if you're craving time to make your own art again outside of your biz or need accountability to keep showing up for your personal creative projects as life gets busier.
Make Space is a four-month journey to reconnect with your creativity, starting Saturday 10th April 2021.
As a small group of six creative womxn, we'll be exploring:
inspired workshop-style sessions to reawaken our artist selves, nurture our creative lives &
‘make-a-long days' (where we actually get-to-work on our own personal creative projects!)
...it’s a place in which to recognise & honour our needs as creatives, & get lit up about making things again!
I’ve made this container because as a creative biz owner, I know how easy it can be to pour all our juice into client work (we love it & we love to support our peeps!), but then rarely make time for our own personal creative explorations (...the idea for that painting that won't leave you alone, the pottery you'd love to pick up again *one day*, the embroidery you've always felt called to experiment with, the music-making thats been on the back burner for TOO MANY YEARS now, fill in your blank).
Having focussed on readdressing the balance in my own life, I’m holding a reflective, joyful & expansive space for others to do the same, because from my conversations with many pals & clients, I know I’m not alone in this way of being.
We are happier humans when we express ourselves & our hearts, through our art. We feel more at peace in ourselves & in our relationships, both personally & professionally when we’ve had time to play, experiment, & bring ideas into physical form. And the more we get inspired for things we want to make, the more inspired life feels.
Make Space is about rewriting the story that says we can’t have both the thriving biz AND our own creative personal projects, through these reflective, clarifying workshop sessions & ‘making’ dates.
