Eva Blake | Personal brand photographer

I shared the best day with the wonderful human that is Eva Blake, fellow personal brand photographer, based near Dublin.

Eva and I first collaborated on her images back in 2019, in the earlier stages of her business, and what an honour it was to work with her again six years on. (You can see the photos from our first shoot here.)

As a photographer with a similar ethos to Eva, I understand the importance of creating images that felt inviting, warm and approachable. For many of us, the idea of having a photo-shoot is a daunting one, so finding a photographer we feel safe with makes all the difference.

Evas brand is colourful, bold, infused with the spirit of celebration, inspiration, excitement. We wanted to bring lots of that high energy through - which was not difficult, we were both in our creative element!

Before the day we shared conversations to explore what her business and personal brand is about now, understand the strands to her offerings and the directions of these moving forward, the stories we wanted to tell, designing a photo-shoot that aligned with all of this.

Capturing lots of photos of her with the camera would be important, but also photos that speak to the business strategy work she offers, the events she has hosted, and the gorgeous locations near where she is based and brings clients.

Eva gathered outfits and props that matched and complimented her brand colours, which allowed us to create lots of shots with strong themes.

The first part of our session took place in her amazing garden studio, capturing various ‘behind the scenes’ stories, marketing coaching scenes, and more in nearby locations.
