Getting these photos ready to share and remembering this day made me SO HAPPY! Seeing so many people in a room together, the closeness, the hugs! I look forward to us all being able to do this again one day.
Earlier in the year I was excited to be asked to photograph Kickass Women 2.0, an awesome annual event of Platf9rm (and my old co-working space) hosted by Emilie & Sunetta, in which entrepreneurial women speak & share about their journeys & businesses, stories are told, curiosity is sparked, seeds are planted, connections are made.
It was an incredible day and so much fun to shoot. I love capturing events like these, exploring all the angles to showcase the venue, the speakers and attendees.
I have so missed this beautiful space and the people in it this year, and know I will for many to come. Platf9rm has been an important place for me during my time in Brighton, it felt like a second home at times as I left behind the isolation of many years of working from home and was around OTHER HUMANS! I met some really wonderful people there who I will miss now that I’ve moved away from the city. I highly recommend Platf9rm it if you could do with some time around some wonderful other people in a COVID-19 secure space.
