Personal Brand Shoot in Berkshire - Aniko Britten - Permanent Makeup Artist and Fertility Mindset Coach
Trust is so important when finding the right professional for any service, especially when it comes to permanent makeup.
I was absolutely thrilled to work with Aniko, permanent makeup artist, who was looking for authentic photos for her gorgeous new website and social media to help clients connect with her online.
She has the most warm, grounded and calm presence so it was not difficult to capture this! It was such a pleasure getting to know her before the day and I have loved keeping in touch since then.
In the years that have passed since this gorgeous shoot, Aniko has also begun her business as a fertility mindset coach, supporting women and couples with their emotional wellbeing on their journey to parenthood. You can read about her personal journey and find out more here.
Following our initial conversations we planned out our day to create images of her relaxing treatment room, engaging portraits, in-action photos with a local client, and glimpses into her personal life; her love of nature, her family, essential oils, learning, personal growth and yoga (she’s a trained yoga teacher too!).

Below is what Aniko shared with me about the experience.
Being super self critical with myself in my whole life, I’ve never been happy with photographs taken of me. Not even my wedding pictures, where I was supposed to look my best! Naturally, I was dreading the idea of having a branding photography session, but I knew it had to be done.
I was in the middle of rebranding and getting a bespoke website designed; being the heart of my brand meant it was not an option to not have some photographs taken for it. I looked into several other photographers before I found Becky’s website, and her values, her gentle but conscious energy stood out from all the other photographers, immediately resonating with me. I just felt I had to work with her. And I am so glad I have listened to my intuition.
The whole experience was beyond fantastic! From the warm and professional reply to my inquiry to the easy scheduling of our discovery call, the thoughtfully planned questions that led to an in-depth conversation about myself, my business and my ideal clients, which Becky was listening to with genuine curiosity so she could then send over the perfect summary, was something that already blew my mind.
Our call closer to the date discussing locations, props and outfits that she then followed up with sending over a detailed plan of our time together was just another touch that I thought was brilliant. After all this, I wasn’t surprised how prepared she was when she arrived on the day and how the warm and gentle energy that I already knew from her website entered my space.
I loved the grounding meditation that helped us connecting even more and to work on our common goal which was getting pictures done that truly shows who I am and help my ideal clients connect with me.
I could not be happier with the outcome! The pictures are absolutely fantastic and I am still smiling looking at them!
They make me feel confident and instead of dreading it, I now can not wait for the launch of my new website and becoming visible on social media to show myself and my brand to the world. Massive shift to where I was before.
