Sometimes my partner and I choose to take the country roads on long drives rather than the motorway routes. While it always takes longer and can be tiring, it is also guaranteed to be more beautiful and more interesting, and definitely turns the journey into an adventure!
If we have the time and energy to weave our way through the countryside, it is a lovely way to get a feel for new places and the lands we are covering.
Sometimes we find ourselves in the most beautiful places, and this was one of them, the appropriately named Steep of Hampshire. We returned to it a Summer or two after that first drive-through as it was such a gorgeously and unusually hilly, green and wooded place. We did a circular walk around the fields and woodland, and this painting was inspired by the view from a hilltop clearing of the Ashford Hanger Nature Reserve on a sunny day.
This *TINY* giclée fine art print is reproduced from a goache painting.
Each print is signed in pencil, and printed on beautifully smooth Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper - an incredible quality stock that brings out the detail and depth of my original paintings with perfection!! Being made from this sustainable and natural resource, it also makes it an environmentally friendly paper.
The size of the paper this is printed on is 5" square (12.5cm square), and the image itself is printed at the same as the original painting, which is about 2" square (5cm square). A very diddy painting.
A few extra notes!
You will receive your print in a recycled card envelope, within a biodegradable, compostable, eco friendly sleeve, packaged safe n sound to reach you intact! I also repurpose packaging materials when possible to minimise my impact on the environment.
Please note that due to monitor differences, the colours of your print may vary very slightly from what you see online here on your screen. I can assure you that as a (recovering) perfectionist I work carefully to match the appearance of the prints to the original painting!
