My partner, his parents and I took a trip up to the Scottish Highlands back in 2019, staying in the remote and beautiful Ardnamurchan. After a very long drive, I realised it must have been one of the most isolated places I'd ever been, which felt both freeing and kind of out of my comfort zone! It was amazing.

One day we went to the lighthouse at Ardnamurchan Point and stopped in the cafe which sits below the lighthouse, in a very old stone building with the thickest walls. This painting was inspired by the ancient view from the window in that cafe. Such a dramatic scene!

This giclée fine art print is reproduced from a goache painting I made.

Each print is signed in pencil, and printed on beautifully smooth Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper - an incredible quality stock that brings out the detail and depth of my original paintings with perfection!! Being made from this sustainable and natural resource, it also makes it an environmentally friendly paper.

There are two size options:

Option 1: Printed on 7x7" paper. The painting is printed at the same size as the original (aprox 4.5" x 5.5").

Option 2: Printed on 10x10" paper which makes the size of the print almost fill the page.

I used to sell this in a different size, and new representative photos are coming soon to show the new square print sizing.

A few extra notes!

You will receive your print in a recycled card envelope, within a biodegradable, compostable, eco friendly sleeve, packaged safe n sound to reach you intact! I also repurpose packaging materials when possible to minimise my impact on the environment.

Please note that due to monitor differences, the colours of your print may vary very slightly from what you see online here on your screen. I can assure you that as a (recovering) perfectionist I work carefully to match the appearance of the prints to the original painting!
