Brand photography for community arts venue in Exeter | Theatre Alibi

Theatre Alibi is a community arts venue and organisation based in St Thomas, Exeter, creating experiences for families and children that inspire imaginations across generations, fuel creativity and give young people opportunities to learn and play with incredible performing arts workshops.

It’s been a total joy to photograph their events in recent years - from immersive festive theatre experiences to summer school drama activities, drawing workshops and pop up story-telling events around Devon, I’ve been honoured to be trusted with these images and always have so much fun.

So when they got in touch about creating headshots of the team I was excited to collaborate in this way!

In line with what they’re all about, we wanted the photos to feel vibrant and colourful, welcoming, joyful and friendly, and show who is the team at the core of Theatre Alibi.

We decided to create the images in their iconic main hall, in the entrance area at the building with its colourful painted murals, and outside the building (Emmanuel Hall) where a lot of the magic happens!

Below are a few favourites from our session.

““Becky is fun and friendly. She creates a lovely relaxed environment and makes sure you have all the information you need before the day, so you go in feeling confident that things will run smoothly, and you’re in a safe pair of hands.””
