Hello! I’m Becky, personal brand photographer of coaches, creatives and ethical small business owners based in Devon and working across the U.K. 📸
I’m a lover of nature (mossy, old-growth forests are my FAVOURITE) and a creative who loves to paint, crochet, embroider, and take photos of interesting things I find in the woods with my macro lens.
I live in Exeter where I love to work as well as travelling all over the UK (and sometimes beyond) for my soulful sessions (I’ve had the privilege of doing shoots in LA, Miami, Philadelphia, Florence, Puglia, Paris, Santorini and more).
I’m originally from High Wycombe, Bucks, and enjoyed a colourful chapter in Brighton & Hove before moving to rural, beloved Exmoor for a few years in 2020, before settling here.
I started my biz 14 years ago while working in a call centre (with a deep fear of phone calls…), because I had a desire to use my creativity, be self-employed and connect with people in a meaningful way.
I love to learn about other people and their worlds, get excited about what they’re creating, hold that vision with them and capture it so their peeps can get on the journey with them. I deeply care about my clients and the impact of their work.
Over the time I’ve been a photographer, I’ve also coached, mentored, given talks and workshops on personal branding, ran a small membership for a while, and sold prints of my paintings. (I’ve also moved through my fear of phone calls!)
Authenticity, integrity, and self expression have always been central to what I do.
Choosing the niche of personal branding quite early on means I’ve been there for many a trend, but my real love has simply been about helping my clients feel like they can actually be themselves in front of the camera, be seen and felt through the photographs we create, see themselves in their images, and (sometimes to their surprise) have fun in the process! *insert hair toss*
I TOTALLY get the fear that being photographed and ‘showing up’ can bring up for so many of us, and it’s super rewarding for me to support my clients from that nervous place through to calm, courage and confidence.
They say we teach what we need to learn, and as a sensitive small biz owner myself (and, like, a human!?) on my own journey of visibility and getting to know myself, this has rung true over and over as I facilitate this work.
I’m immensely grateful for that, and for each person I have the joy of collaborating with.
Finally, you may notice that a lot of my work tends to feature women, and women do make up the vast majority of my wonderful client base. I sometimes get asked if I only work with women. I'm available to work with people of all genders, & in light of Aprils devastating Supreme Court Ruling here in the UK, I also want to make it clear that my definition of ‘woman’ is inclusive of trans women.
🏳️⚧️ Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Non binary and gender non conforming people exist.
Every human being is deserving of respect and safety, to exist in the world as who they are, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, class, religion, nationality (and regardless of whether we fully understand or relate to their identity ourselves). It's unacceptable that this is not currently the case, and there is so much work to be done.
Use of AI: I am currently not using AI tools for my business, with the exception of sometimes editing out background distractions in photographs (e.g. fire exit signs, a person that stepped into the shot in the background, etc.) I don’t currently use it in any of my writing or photo-editing beyond these basic retouches.
I am currently taking bookings for Autumn 2025 sessions in.
I’d be thrilled to support you with gorgeous new images for your work in the world, that connect with your audience and inspire your visibility.
Book in a call with me here or send me an email to get in touch, and we’ll feel into it!
