Mushroom season on Exmoor

This time of year calls me back to the woods, the ticks are gone, sweet chestnuts are ripe and the fungi are fruiting.

Often I go without anything to photograph it. It’s good to unplug, and time can pass in a beautiful way when I’m just in nature, away from technology. But sometimes I do bring my camera.

Here are a few favourite captures from my wanders!
