Terms & Conditions (Mini-Shoot Day)

This agreement is between Rebecca Molesworth T/A Becky Rui Photography and the persons booking the mini-photo-shoot, hereinafter referred to as the Clients, with the photography package detailed below. The terms & conditions are the only legally binding documents between the parties referred to as Clients.

Cancellation

There shall be no refund of payment from the agreement to these terms & conditions, due to the reservation of the photography date/time. If the photo-shoot booking is cancelled within four weeks of the date, the client shall pay any remaining balance as scheduled, however the Client may find an alternative person to take their place on the day if they can no longer make it. Once a balance is paid, it is non-refundable. Any other arrangements shall be discussed between the client and Becky Rui Photography. All arrangements will be put in writing. Cancellation must be in writing even if a phone call was made to inform Becky Rui Photography of the cancellation.

Failure to Perform

The parties agree to cheerful cooperation and communication for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. The photographer is not responsible for the lateness of the Client, and due to the timed nature of the day, any lateness will result in the Client having less time for the photo-shoot, or no photo-shoot time. The time slots cannot be adjusted on the day.

Copyright

Copyright to all products shall remain with Becky Rui Photography. The digital images (hereinafter collectively “images') created by Becky Rui Photography remain the property of Becky Rui Photography, however with this agreement Becky Rui Photography grants full permission for the client to use the images in their business and marketing activities, and for personal use. The Client may download, share and save their 10 favourite images from the library of photographs, but may not download, share or save any other images from the library, unless these have been purchased in addition to the package price, or unless written agreement has been given by the photographer.

Expenses and Permits

Becky Rui Photography is responsible for all location fees for the photo-shoot unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Creative Licence

Images are edited at the photographer’s discretion, and delivered digital images may not include all images shot. The photographer reserves the creative right to edit and release only those deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards.

Force Majeure

If Becky Rui Photography or its assigns, cannot perform this agreement due to a fire, casualty, strike or other civil disturbances, Acts of God, including but not limited to, road closures, severe traffic, fire, terrorism or other causes beyond the control of the parties, then Becky Rui Photography shall return any moneys paid by the client, less expenses, but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation of liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged, lost through camera malfunction, compact flash card malfunction, or otherwise lost or damaged without the fault on the part of Becky Rui Photography.

 
 

Included in your investment:

  • Pre-shoot phone-call.

  • Digital preparation guide and checklist.

  • 30 min photo-shoot on agreed date, plus 15 minutes buffer either side of your session (1hr total time together)

  • Digital gallery of the images for the Client to choose from, within 21 days of the session.

  • 10 images in high resolution, as chosen by the Client.

  • Option to purchase additional images at £15 per image.

  • Access to your gallery for two years from the date of the photo-shoot.

  • Venue hire fee.

  • Photographers assistant fee.

 
 

This is a contract for photography services to be provided by Becky Rui Photography.

By completing your photo-shoot booking and making payment, you agree to the above and below terms and conditions:

  • The Client acknowledges that they have received, read, and understand Becky Rui Photography’s current pricing.

  • The Client acknowledges that a late payment will result in a £100.00 monthly charge, per late payment, cumulative, until paid in full.

  • Permission is hereby granted to Becky Rui Photography to use any images created under this contract for professional samples, displays, website pages, blog, social media, advertising, exhibitions and contests.

  • Becky Rui Photography retains the copyright to all images produced by Becky Rui Photography. The client understands the images sent can not be re-sold by the client (e.g. sold to stock agencies), but may be used for advertising and marketing of clients business, and for personal use.
